How the connection works
SuiteTalk REST web services (CRUD on records, SuiteQL queries, OpenAPI metadata) are generally available to NetSuite customers, alongside SOAP and SuiteScript.
Oracle’s NetSuite AI Connector exposes an MCP endpoint that Claude can add as a custom connector over OAuth 2.0, running under a dedicated non-administrator role.
Requires enabling OAuth 2.0 and server SuiteScript, installing the MCP Sample Tools SuiteApp, and creating a dedicated non-Administrator role.

Does NetSuite have an official Claude connector?+
Oracle’s NetSuite AI Connector exposes an MCP endpoint that Claude can add as a custom connector over OAuth 2.0, running under a dedicated non-administrator role. We can turn that on for your team and build skills on top of it, or extend it with custom tools where it falls short.
What NetSuite data can Claude work with?+
Through the API, Claude can work with customers, vendors, items, inventory levels, sales orders, purchase orders and more. We scope access to read-only wherever possible, and keep a person approving anything that changes records or reaches a customer.
Do we need a developer on staff?+
No. In a Claude Deployment Sprint we set up the connection, build the skills and train your team. You’ll need an admin login for NetSuite and, if required, to approve API access with Oracle NetSuite.
Will our NetSuite data be used to train AI models?+
We set teams up on Claude business plans. Anthropic does not use inputs or outputs from its commercial products to train models by default.
