Construction project management

Claude + Procore

Your projects, rfis, submittals already live in Procore. Connected to Claude, your team can ask questions of that data, draft from it and act on it, without copying anything between tabs. Here’s what that looks like for small and mid-size businesses, and how we set it up.

Open APICustom connection via API

What Claude does with your Procore data

Real workflows we build on top of the connection. Each one becomes a skill your team runs in one step.

1

Daily log digest for PMs

Each morning, pull yesterday's daily logs, manpower and weather entries across active projects and draft a one-page summary per project flagging delays, safety notes and missing logs.

2

RFI chaser

List open RFIs past their due date, group by responsible party, and draft polite follow-up emails that quote the original question and the schedule impact noted on the RFI.

3

Change order narrative drafts

From a pending change order's line items and linked RFIs/photos, draft the owner-facing justification narrative for the PM to review before submission.

4

Submittal log status report

Summarize submittals by status and ball-in-court for the weekly OAC meeting, highlighting items holding up procurement of long-lead materials.

5

Budget variance briefing

Compare budget vs. committed vs. actual cost codes for a project and write a plain-English variance summary for the owner or exec team, calling out cost codes trending over.

How the connection works

Versioned public REST API with OAuth 2.0 and sandbox environments; customers can build custom 'data connection' apps that a company admin installs via App Management. Listing in the Procore App Marketplace requires partner-program approval.

There isn’t an official Procore connector for Claude that we could verify, so we build a small, scoped MCP server on the Procore API and add it to your Claude workspace. Your team then uses Procore data inside Claude like any other tool.

Procore pricing is contract-based and production rate limits/marketplace listing go through Procore's partner process; custom apps must be installed by a company admin.

Questions

Does Procore have an official Claude connector?+

We didn’t find an official Procore connector for Claude from Procore Technologies, Inc. or Anthropic. We connect the two through the Procore API (open api), usually as a small MCP server your Claude workspace can use.

What Procore data can Claude work with?+

Through the API, Claude can work with projects, rfis, submittals, daily logs, budgets, change orders and more. We scope access to read-only wherever possible, and keep a person approving anything that changes records or reaches a customer.

Do we need a developer on staff?+

No. In a Claude Deployment Sprint we set up the connection, build the skills and train your team. You’ll need an admin login for Procore and, if required, to approve API access with Procore Technologies, Inc..

Will our Procore data be used to train AI models?+

We set teams up on Claude business plans. Anthropic does not use inputs or outputs from its commercial products to train models by default.
